North Yorkshire based Nicola Naprstek is a highly skilled freelance Dressage Trainer and Rider with over 35 years dressage riding and 25 years dressage training experience.

About Nicola Naprstek

Nicola started riding at the age of four on her lead rein pony 'Rosie' and she quickly developed a passion for horses and for competing. Her early days were spent in the show ring where she frequently won county shows and championships with her second pony Gunnerby Marksway. In 1993 Nicola was a member of the winning British Dressage Team in 1993 against Ireland. Read More →

Approach to training

Nicola believes that schooling your horse in the correct way is not just essential for competing in the dressage arena, it is also crucial for producing a well-rounded and well-balanced horse for eventing, showing, showjumping or general riding club activities. She teaches riders from grass roots level up to 2* dressage for eventing and on to Prix St. Georges/Intermediare level dressage.

About Naprstek Dressage

Nicola Naprstek is a highly skilled and experienced freelance dressage trainer based in North Yorkshire. She offers lessons at her yard just two miles from Scotch Corner, where she has a 60 x 20m arena with mirrors and fantastic views of the North Yorkshire countryside. She will also travel for dressage clinics and individual lessons on a case by case basis.
